Keith Comstock's Obituary
John Keith Comstock, affectionately known as Keith to all, died peacefully in his home in the early hours of November 5, 2025 at the age of 61 after battling metastatic lung cancer.
Survived by his wife Gwen Comstock; his children AshLee Johnson, Courtney Comstock, Jeremy Childers, and Jessica Childers; his nine granddaughters Avery, Phoenix, Aurora, Juniper, Amanda, Marcilene, Bonniebell, Minerva, and Natalie; his parents Larry Comstock and Judy Comstock; and his brother Ronnie Comstock.
Born in Miami Florida on the day of January 14, 1964 and a lifetime resident of the Leesburg, Fruitland Park, Weirsdale area. He grew up tinkering on anything with a motor, enjoying clay-pits and dirt-bikes his whole childhood with his parents and brother by his side.
He was a loving father and devoted husband to his wife Gwen of 25 years. They did everything together and shared all of life's great experiences hand in hand.
Jack of many trades and master of them all. He had many careers like HVAC technician, locksmith, diesel mechanic, and gas attendant to name a few. He was many things in his spare time and enjoyed endless hobbies. He was a chef, a pilot, a fisherman, a beekeeper, a botanist, and a hunter. He was an extraordinary mind and always craved for more knowledge.
A celebration of life will be held in Keith's honor on the day of January 10, 2026 at 2pm at the families lake house in Fort McCoy, FL. Details regarding further information is yet to be determined.
