Katheryn E. Krueger's Obituary
Katheryn E. Krueger, 81, Deland, Florida (Formerly of Leesburg) passed away on October 3, 2019 at Advent Health Hospice in Orange City, Florida. Katheryn was born on June 23, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents Ralph Logan and Katheryn (Lebsock) Logan.
She and her loving husband Bill moved to Central Florida over 30 years ago from Lincoln, Illinois. She was Educator who had worked for the Mason City Public School System and retired from Mount Vernon High School as a Principal in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Katheryn was of the Lutheran faith and had belonged to Providence Lutheran Church in Deltona, Florida and had previously belonged to Woodlands Lutheran Church in Montverde, FL. She was a graduate of Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Education.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years: William “Bill” Krueger of Deland, FL; a daughter: Lynda Bannon and her husband Ricke of Deland, FL; daughter-in-law: Kathy Krueger; three grandchildren: Shaun A. Krueger and his fiancé’, Rose M. Ladd, Stephen W. Lundemo and Jack H. Vink, II; four great-grandchildren: Andrew J. Lundemo, Nykolas J. Alonzo, Preston Krueger and Aubrey Krueger; great-great-granddaughter: Mckenna; niece: Katherine Frances Gray as well as several other loving nieces and nephews. Katheryn was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bob Logan and her beloved son, Bill Krueger.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 6:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg, Florida. There will also be a Memorial Service at a later date at The Cloisters, in Deland, Florida
