Justin Leon Miller's Obituary
Justin Leon Miller, age 80, passed away on January 8, 2026. A devoted husband, father, veteran, and faithful servant, Justin lived a life marked by service, integrity, and quiet generosity.
Justin was born on February 24, 1945, in South Bend, Indiana, to Raymond H. Miller and Mary P. Miller, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Rodney, Mac, Maude, and Roy, and by his beloved daughter, Christina Marie Miller. He is survived by his siblings Lyle and Leslie.
In June of 1969, Justin married the love of his life, Donna May Noell. Together they shared more than five decades of marriage built on loyalty, perseverance, and deep family commitment.
Justin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring honorably with the 17th Security Police Squadron under Strategic Air Command (SAC). His military service reflected the discipline and dependability that defined his civilian life.
Justin was a longtime member of Arvada Baptist Church in Arvada, Colorado. He gave his life to Christ in 1972, a decision that shaped his values, guided his character, and anchored his faith throughout his life.
Following his service, Justin earned an associate degree in Accounting and went on to work at the Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant for 18 years. There, he ran the print shop, managed all printers across the facility, and oversaw the printer and copier program, leading a small team with diligence and integrity.
Justin lived in South Bend until 1981, when he and his family relocated to Arvada, Colorado. In 2019, he and Donna moved to Leesburg, Florida, where he enjoyed retirement surrounded by family, sunshine, and the simple pleasures he loved most.
Justin found joy in birding, fishing, gardening, woodworking, drawing, and painting. He loved cooking and baking for others and took pride in sharing what he made. Above all, he loved telling stories—stories of his life, his experiences, and the people he cared about, leaving lasting memories for those fortunate enough to listen.
Justin is survived by his wife, Donna Miller; his son, Justin Leon Miller II, and daughter-in-law, Sandra Kay Jones Miller; his siblings Lyle and Leslie; and extended family and friends who will miss his steady presence, thoughtful nature, and quiet humor.
Justin Leon Miller will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his service to his country, and his deep love for family. His life was one of purpose, generosity, and strength—and his legacy lives on in all who knew him.
