June Alice Howell's Obituary
June Alice Howell, 82, Longmont, Colorado formerly of Lady Lake, Florida went to be with the Lord on October 11, 2015 at Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, Colorado. Mrs. Howell was born on March 23, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to her parents Robert Huntley Chamberlain and Gertrude Helen (Walton) Chamberlain. Mrs. Howell was a former Shipping and Receiving Clerk for Meter Master in Palo Alto, California. She moved to Longmont five years ago from Lady Lake, Florida and prior to that had resided in Palo Alto, California where she worked and raised her loving family. She was a long time member of Beverly Shores Church of Christ in Leesburg, Florida and a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. June was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 48 years, Hubert Jean Howell, as well as her parents and siblings - Jean, Jane, Joan, Jr., and twin brother Jim. She is survived by her loving children: Landa (John) Morris of San Jose, CA, Terri Robb of Charlotte, NC, Hugh (Tristen) Howell of Santa Clara, CA and Jennifer Jackson of Longmont, CO; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 7:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, Florida with a Gathering prior to the service from 6:00PM till the hour of service. A Committal Service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00AM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with military honors.
