Julia C. Chism's Obituary
Julia Clyde Knowles-Chism, 88, of Bushnell, Florida formerly of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on March 25, 2012 at the HPH Hospice in Dade City, Florida. She was born in Lowndes County, Georgia and married Alvin P. Knowles, deceased, moved to Bradenton in 1946 where she was a homemaker and a seamstress until marrying Robert B. Chism, deceased, then retiring and moving to Bushnell in 1989. She was a member of Indian Hill Baptist Church and was involved in Mission Action and with the Florida Baptist Children’s Home.Julia is survived by a daughter, Barbara Sartin (Jim); grandchildren, William Farmer, Julie Auchtung, both of Nobleton, FL, and Shannon Murphy of Bradenton; great-granddaughter, Jennifer Auchtung, great-grandsons, Christian and Chase Murphy, Demetrius Angel and Jason Farmer; and great-great- granddaughters, Alena and Lexy Atwell. She is survived a sister, Edna Carter of Sebastian, FL and a brother, Charles Willis of Valdosta, GA.A memorial service will be held at the Indian Hill Baptist Church in Bushnell, Florida on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 10:00am. Visitation and burial will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Indian Hill Baptist Church for the Mission Action Fund or the Florida Baptist Children’s Home.
