Joyce P. Sanson's Obituary
Joyce P. Sanson, 80, Leesburg, FL went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2013 under the care of her loving family and staff of Lane Purcell Hospice House in Sumterville, FL. Mrs. Sanson was born on December 16, 1932 in Decatur, Georgia to her parents Walter and Vera Bell Peters. Mrs. Sanson was a devoted homemaker to her family and she was of the Christian faith. Mrs. Sanson and her husband moved to Leesburg 7 years ago from Melbourne, FL. She enjoyed decorating her home making it a “Showplace” as well as working with floral arrangements and spoiling her husband with her love. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years: Chet Sanson of Leesburg, FL; three daughters: Teresa Lynn (Jim) Walters of Decatur, GA, Pamela Joyce Armour of Loganville, GA and Linda Jean Givens of Smyrna, GA; a son: Jeff Sanson of St. Petersburg, FL; two sisters: Georgia Ann Traylor of Hot Springs, AR and Dorothy Thompson of Conyers, GA; five grandchildren: Ashley, Shannon, Amanda, Joseph and Melissa; ten great-grandchildren; three nieces and a nephew and several grand nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Cornerstone Hospice in care of Lane Purcell Hospice House at 2445 Lane Park Road Tavares, FL 32778. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 10:00AM at Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg, FL with a visitation to be held prior to the service from 9:00AM till the hour of service.
