Very sorry to read about the passing of Joe. First and foremost he was a friend, a golfing
partner, and the best damn baseball coach in my baseball career. Joe was also a dear friend, golfing buddy, and business associate of my Dad ( Motz ). Joe was a most intense and competitive person who left his mark on a few tee markers and even a golf cart !
I have many memories of " Coach Wehmeier " who taught me the game of baseball, how to win with class, lose graciously while hating to lose, and good sportsmanship in any sport I participated.
God bless and keep you Joe !

We have such good memories of Joe. We are so glad we were able to visit with him just a few years ago. We are so sorry for your loss. He was such a wonderful man.
Much love,
Jack, Connie, and Helen Wehmeier
I am sorry for your loss. I have great memories of Joe from St. Johns, and playing golf Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings at Miami Whitewater and Shawnee Lookout and signing his petition for Carson Lodge.
Condolences to your family.

Mrs. Wehmeier, Tom, Lin & Sherry,
So sorry to hear about you husband and Dad's passing. Please accept my condolences. I will always remember Joe trying to help me be a better pitcher when I was in the first grade or so. I will never forget that. I also remember what a treat it was when we didn't have school on Wednesday that I got to go to Del-Fair on Tuesday nights and watch the crew bowl.
Again, please accept my sympathy.

Always have great memories of Coach. Baseball was his passion. Ran into Joe about 45 yes. ago. We talked about knothole ball and eventual softball. Over the years Coach came to mind quite often. Bless his family and hello to Tom. Steve Phelps

Our family has been blended with the Wehmeier family with the marriage of our son Eric with Joe's granddaughter Katie. We have been blessed to have met Joe and Ruth We have occasionally visited with them in their home and Joe always had a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eyes!.
