Joseph Stagnitta Obit Joseph Stagnitta, 89, Leesburg, Florida, Passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012 at his residence in The Plantation of Leesburg, Leesburg, Florida. Mr. Stagnitta was the Owner of the Valley Stream Meat Market in Valley Stream, Long Island, NY. He and his wife moved to Leesburg, FL. from Stuart, FL. 5 years ago, and he was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the Valley Stream Volunteer Fire Dept, and the Knights of Columbus both of Valley Stream, New York. He loved classic cars, and served as President of the Glendale Village Homeowners Association of The Plantation of Leesburg. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Alaine Stagnitta, two sons: Joseph Stagnitta of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and Mark Sarnoff (Teresa) of Miami, FL.; two daughters: Karen Johnston of Stuart, FL, and Shari Marino (Randy) of Nesconset, LI, NY.; two grandchildren: Allie Marino and Anthony Joseph Marino. Services to be held at a later date at The Plantation of Leesburg with Interment to follow at The Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
