Joseph Pacheco Soares Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph Pacheco Soares, Jr., 74, Leesburg, Florida passed away on September 8, 2016 at his residence under the loving care of his family and Cornerstone Hospice. Mr. Soares was born on April 1, 1942 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to his parents Joseph Pacheco Soares and Irene (Mattos) Soares. Mr. Soares was a former Tool and Die Maker for Amp Inc. for over 33 years. He and his wife Sandy moved to Leesburg in 2003 from Pinellas Park, Florida. He was of the Catholic faith and a proud veteran who served in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1964. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles of Leesburg, National Rifle Association and a former member of the Elks Lodge of Pinellas Park, Florida. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, archery, scuba diving, fishing and camping in his R.V. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years: Sandy Soares of Leesburg, FL; son: Joseph Scott (Rebecca) Soares of Clermont, FL; a daughter: Pami-Lee Wolfe of The Villages, FL; two grandsons: Kyle Wolfe and Justin Soares. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Leesburg, Florida. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.pagetheus.com.
