Born on 12/26/1929 in Manchester, Connecticut. Mal graduated from Manchester High School in 1947. He traveled the U.S extensively, then enlisted in the Air Force in 1950. As a flight engineer he was stationed at Wiesbaden Germany until his discharge in 1954. Mal and Marlene Hamlin married in 1955. They have three daughters, Kathy, Jeri and Heidi and son-in-law Marshall Berenson all in the New England area. Mal’s business career was in sales and marketing for several major corporations as
Regional Director, National Sales Manager and Director of Marketing. Mal in his later life was known as an artist. He painted his whole life as well as sculpted wood. A true artist who found ways to create while having a corporate job and taking care of his family. A good neighbor, friend and active community member. He will be missed.
