Jon Michael Neville's Obituary
Jon M. Neville, 70, passed away peacefully on July 19th, 2017 at the Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, Florida. Jon was the son of Dudley and Carol Neville of Kenilworth, New Jersey, graduating from Jonathan Dayton Regional High School, Class of 1965. Jon moved to Great Meadows, New Jersey in the mid-1960’s and retired to Florida in 2010.
Jon installed Fire Protection Systems for an Industrial Sprinkler Company owned by Joe Marheva, who Jon considered a great boss and a wonderful friend, and was a proud member of Local Union 669.
Jon was a car enthusiast of the first order. He loved NASCAR and was a collector of NASCAR memorabilia. Jon owned several classic cars and was a member of the Wanderer’s Car Club of New Jersey. Jon’s other sporting love was golf. He liked nothing better than to play a round with his golf buddies, trading banter all the way.
Jon is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Kressler-Neville, his daughter Traci and grandson Jonathan of Hackettstown, New Jersey and his brother Dudley, Jr. of Blairstown, New Jersey. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Alvin and Jeffery. Services and burial will be private.
