Joel Herman Friedman's Obituary
Joel Herman Friedman, 79, passed away on December 7th, 2022 in Homosassa, Florida as the result of a traffic accident. Joel was born on December 4th 1943 in Los Angeles, California, to his parents Edward Charles Friedman and Ruth (Schuman) Friedman.
Joel moved to Homosassa, Florida 27 years ago from Encino, California. He was a former Store Manger working for his parents at Glamour Accessories in Los Angeles, California for over 25 years. He served for 8 years in the United States Air Force Reserve and he was of the Jewish faith. He was a good athlete, avid golfer and a dedicated investor in the Stock Market.
He is survived by his loving brother, Michael Friedman of Agoura Hills, California, several cousins. and many dear friends.
Joel was preceded in death by his beloved parents Edward and Ruth Friedman.
A celebration of Joel’s life will be held on December 19th, 2022 at 10:30 am at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg Chapel with Rabbi Zev Sonnenstein officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place prior to the service at 09:45 am at the funeral home.
