Mr. Joe Lee Morgan's Obituary
Joe Lee Morgan age 77, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Joe was born in Hazard, Kentucky and moved to the Fruitland Park area in 1982 from Sanford, Florida. He was a longtime member of the Leesburg Church of the Nazarene. He owned and operated the Morgan Car Sales Company for over 32 years. He will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his sometime dry and playful humor. He was the guy who always had a joke and loved to make others laugh. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Lucille; Son- Randall L. (Serita)Morgan of Lady Lake; Daughters- Carol (Harold L.) Nelson of Fruitland Park; and Donna (Ray) Guthrie of Jasper, AL; Brother – Jack Morgan of The Villages; Sisters- Betty (Jack) Spraul of Hendersonville, NC; and Charlene (William) Harper of Westchester, OH; 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren; He was also a special Dad and Granddad to many.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 3:00-4:00 P. M. at the Leesburg Church of The Nazarene 2100 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., Leesburg, Florida. Funeral Services Celebrating Joe’s life will follow immediately at 4:00 P. M. with Pastors Greg Brown, Larry Brincefield, and Don Shelp officiating. Interment and Committal will take place 11:30 A. M. Monday at Oaklawn Memorial Park 5000 C. R. 46A, Sanford, Florida.
