Joan, my best and dearest friend. I remember the day we met at the mailbox, shortly after I moved to Florida some twelve years ago. We became instant best friends. She was always thoughtful, caring and generous, with a smile that could light up the lives of all who knew her. She was the very best neighbor and friend anyone could ever wish for.
