Joan G Anspacher's Obituary
Joan G. Anspacher passed away May 15, 2021. She was 88 years old. Joan was born in Yonkers NY to her parents Arthur and Gertrude Dring on April 6, 1933. She spent her young adult life as a receptionist for the NY Telephone Company and eventually moved to Greene County. She married Robert L. Anspacher Sr. and lived in Freehold where she enjoyed raising her family, horses and gardens on the farm. After retirement, Joan and Bob went north to Errol NH where they enjoyed the winters and snowmobiling. They dedicated some time to traveling in their RV and spent a few winters in Kerrville TX. Eventually, they moved to North Vineland NJ to be closer to family, then settled in Leesburg FL. Wherever they lived, Joan loved her gardens and always grew beautiful flowers and fresh vegetables. She also loved cooking and crafts of all kinds, although knitting, quilting and needlepoint were her specialties.
Joan is survived by her loving husband Bob; two daughters, Joann Acker and her partner Gordon Ringer, Laura Lepovetsky and her husband Neal; and a son, Wayne Anspacher and his wife Penny. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Joan is predeceased by three sons; James Soderblom, Robert Anspacher Jr., and Alan Soderblom.
