Jerry L. Latham's Obituary
Jerry L. Latham, 69, Fruitland Park, FL went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2014 in Leesburg, FL with his loving wife Sue by his side. Mr. Latham was born on January 27, 1945 in Mishawaka, Indiana to his parents Walter and Ethel Latham. Mr. Latham was an Entrepreneur and had worked as a General Contractor in the Building Industry as well as building great swimming pools and being the General Contractor for McDonald’s restaurants in building children’s play area. He and his wife moved to Fruitland Park in 1989 from Miami, Florida and he was a Lifetime member of the Masonic and Shriner’s lodge in Coral Gables, FL where he had been the Past Grand Master of the Lodge. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed working with model airplanes, fishing, boating and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years: Sue Latham of Fruitland Park, FL; a sister: Shirley Long of Dallas, TX; two brothers: Gene Latham of Orlando, FL and Lee Latham of Houston, TX; many loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 1:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL.
