Jean A. Spoltore's Obituary
Jean A. Spoltore, 88, Leesburg, Florida passed away on March 22, 2016 at Lane Purcell Hospice House in Sumterville, Florida surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Spoltore was born on October 30, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York to her parents Stephen R. Prokop and Julia (Vedder) Prokop. Mrs. Spoltore was a retired Inspector for Fugera Pharmaceuticals in Melville, New York. She was of the Catholic faith and had moved with her husband to Leesburg 21 years ago from Smithtown, New York. She had been a seamstress when she was younger and enjoyed sewing for those in need especially for the Boggy Creek Campers. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years: Lawrence P. Spoltore of Leesburg, FL; a son: Paul and his wife Francine Spoltore of Leesburg, FL; a daughter: Carol and her husband Stephen Iacovelli of Raleigh, N.C.; a granddaughter: Sarah Lyn Iacovelli of Raleigh, N.C. and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Prokop and a sister: Lucille Leder. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Arrangements are entrusted to Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, Florida.
