Jean Sue Hronec's Obituary
HRONEC, JEAN SUE (ILLICK), born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on July 19, 1943, passed away on March 23, 2014 in Leesburg, Florida after a long illness. Jean and her husband, Tom, had a wonderful marriage of over 48 years. Jean was best known by family and friends as having a heart of gold, and for remembering everyone's birthday and anniversary with a personalized card. She also made some of the most beautiful afghan blankets ever seen, and gave them to everyone who was close to her. Jean is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Thomas. Her son, Steven (Sharon), who she loved unconditionally, lives in Lady Lake, Florida. She is also survived by brother, Jim (Kaye) Illick, and sister, Sally Dawson, both of Altamonte Springs, Florida, and they were always there to love and support each other. Jean had 3 grandchildren, Sarah, Kaley and Craig in Orlando, Florida, who were the absolute joy of her life. She is also survived by nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. A memorial service will be held at the Forest Lake Church, Altamonte Springs, on Sunday, April 6 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Forest Lake Church are appreciated.
