Jean Gessner's Obituary
Jean Gessner, 71, of Yalaha, passed away June 24th in Tavares. Jean was born on July 8, 1948 in Wisconsin to Emmert and Florence (Dailey) Eichorst. Jean married Dean Gessner on May 6th, 1972 and preceded her in death on August 30th, 2013.
Jean loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She worked at Disney for 10 years as a cook, then worked at the Ceramic Shop in Forest City. Jean would spend time doing word puzzles to keep he mind busy after she retired.
Jean is survived by her sons; Doug Gessner of Yalaha, Scott Gessner, Sr. and wife Angelina of Yalaha, grandchildren; Kayli Toney, Jaymi Marche, Scott Gessner Jr., Declan Gessner, Tristan Gessner, step-grandchildren; Kirsten Breitenstein, Jordan Breitenstein, Chase Wilhoite, great-grandchildren; Lily Toney, Kieran Marche, brother Keith Eichorst, sisters; Kaye (George) Mathues, and Joan Redunski.
