Jay "Kris" Hardy's Obituary
Jay “Kris” Hardy, 53, went to Heaven on February 7, 2014, under the loving care of his family at his residence in Leesburg, Florida. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on March 30, 1960 to Jo Ann and the late James Hardy. Kris graduated from New Lexington High School in New Lexington, Ohio and then moved to Leesburg, Florida in 1986 with his wife, Kyle Thomas. Kris worked as a mason for the first part of his life and for the past 16 years was employed with Metro Steel and Pipe in Leesburg, FL. Kris had a passion for cooking which we all loved. He also loved his Ohio State Football and he was an avid Nascar fan. Kris loved spending time with his friends and family. Kris is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Kyle Thomas of Leesburg, FL; three siblings: Jack Hardy of New Lexington, OH, Jimmy and Sandy Hardy of Crooksville, OH and Lu Ann and Jeff Armstrong of Bremen, OH; several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his Step Son: Steven and Jennifer Forquignon of Tavares, FL and Grandchildren; Kayla and Tyler. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 7:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL. Page – Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with all arrangements. A grave side service will also be held at a later date in New Lexington, Ohio.
