James Patrick O’Loughlin, Jr., 75, Leesburg, Florida passed away on February 6, 2017 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, Florida. Mr. O’Loughlin was born on November 6, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York to his parents James P. O’Loughlin and Mary Jane (Gregory) O’Loughlin. Mr. O’Loughlin was a former Office Manager for Yellow Freight Systems for many years. He and his loving wife moved to Leesburg 14 years ago from Goshen, New York. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Leesburg, Florida. As well as being a Fourth Degree member of The Knights of Columbus of Leesburg, Florida. He has been a member of the Knights of Columbus since he was 18 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years: Geraldine O’Loughlin of Leesburg, FL; three sons: James G. O’Loughlin of Hawley, PA, Eugene C. O’Loughlin of Centralia, MO and Mark E. O’Loughlin of Wynantskill, NY; two daughters: Ann R. O’Loughlin of Spring Hill, FL and Leigh A. O’Loughlin of Spring Hill, FL; two sisters: Mary Jane Brancazio of Staten Island, NY and Margaret O’Loughlin Byrne of Lakeland, FL; twelve grandchildren: Rebecca O’Loughlin, Briar O’Loughlin, Christine O’Loughlin, Shelby Smith, Rachel Smith, Kimberly O’Loughlin, Emmaray Smith, Amanda O’Loughlin, Jared O’Loughlin, Lillianna O’Loughlin, Delaney O’Loughlin, Charlie O’Loughlin; one great grandchild: Malakai Smith and many loving nieces and nephews. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 8:30AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, Leesburg, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to V.O.R.R.H. (Veterans Organization for Resources and Recovery for the Homeless) at V.O.R.R.H. P.O. Box 1754 Eustis, FL 32727 in Jim’s loving memory.
