James Lacher's Obituary
James Dalton Lacher, 96, of Yahlaha, FL passed away Wed. Jan. 19, 2011. He honorably served his country during WW II achieving the rank of Master SGT in the U.S. Army. He moved to the area in the 1960’s and was a developer in The Springs in Yalaha, FL. James was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church in Leesburg and was the head usher for numerous years. He enjoyed fishing, water skiing, and square dancing.He was survived by his son, William (Becky) Lacher of Yalaha, FL; daughter, Betti (Lewis) Scott of Yalaha, FL; sister, Eleanor Hawk; grandchildren: Jen Bender and Donna Ross; and 6 great-grandchildren.A visitation will be held 5 – 7 pm Wed. Jan. 26th, 2011 at Page-Theus Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Sat. Jan. 29th at Page-Theus Funeral Home.
