Jack Lamar Reifert's Obituary
Jack L Reifert passed away on December 21 at his home in Leesburg, Florida at the age of 90. He was the son of John and Gertrude Reifert of Muscatine, Iowa on July 13. 1935.
Jack Graduated from Muscatine, High School and attended Muscatine Junior College.
He later was employed at Thatcher Plastic Packing in Muscatine, Iowa as an accounting/manager/ and product packaging Consultant. He retired in 1995 when the Businesses closed.
He was married to Barbara Gilliland and they had two sons, Todd and Trent Reifert He was preceded in death by Barbara in 2010. He lived a full and happy life. At an early age he joins the US Army and was deployed to the 101st Airborne where he served six years and had an honorable discharge from the Army.
Jack also took up sky diving as a hobby. He had a lot of interests in life such as golf, hunting, cowboy action shooting as a member of the Eustis Gun Club, football, historical movies and documentaries of World War II.
On October 10, 2010 he married his present wife Velma Ruth Rhea Reifert and they traveled abroad to Italy, Spain, and London and eastern and western parts of the US.
Jack is survived by his wife Velma, sons Todd and Trent Reifert, three grandsons, Brian, Kevin, and Thomas Reifert and a granddaughter Lori Reifert and a sister Susan Martin, Four step children, Brenda Miller, Gina Hoffman, and Sandra Watson and a step son Randy Watson.
Funeral Services will be held at Page-Theus funeral home in Leesburg, Fl on January 14, and a military funeral will be held at Bushnell Military Cemetery on January 16th
