Jack Joseph Aldrich Jr's Obituary
Jack "Bubba" Aldrich, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, left this earth on Oct. 13, 2023, at the age of 47.
Born on April 25, 1976 to Jack and Susan, he lived the first several years of his life in Charleston, SC and Rota, Spain. After returning stateside, the family settled in Central Florida where Jack lived out his remaining years.
As a youngster, he was affectionally called "Binky" by his family, a name he tolerated until his teen years. He loved cats, fishing, spinach, his time spent in Boy Scout Troop #244, where he was known for his sense of humor, and collecting "treasures".
As an adult, Jack worked extremely hard at whatever job he undertook. He loved God, his family, wrestling with his nephews, and collecting antiques items.
While he might not have always been able to express his feelings verbally, Jack was able to express what was on his mind and in his heart on paper, as evidenced by the poems and writing he left behind.
He is survived by his father, Jack J. Aldrich Sr; his mother, Susan Cook Meadows; his one true love, Wendy Aldrich; his four sisters, Jennifer Michelle Aldrich, Heather Meadows Thomas, Ashley S. Meadow and Meagan Meadows Sonier; as well as his brother and sister of the heart, Jason Morphet and Jennifer Morphet Vandergrift. Jack also leaves behind 7 nephews and nieces, with a new little one due to arrive in May 2024.
To say he will be missed is an understatement. He will always be our "Binky" and our "Bubba".
Jack was predeceased by his beloved grandmother, who he affectionately called "Momps" and his beautiful cousin, Summer.
To both Jack and Summer. Your chains are gone, you've been set free.
Colossians 1:13 - For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his dear son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. NLT
