Irman S. Young's Obituary
Irman S. Young passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the age of 96. He was born on January 27, 1915 in Columbus, GA to the late Clarence and Minnie Young. Irman lived most of his life in the Lake County area and worked for over 50 years for A.P. Miller Fernery. He was an excellent gardener, and enjoyed passing on his love of plants to his family. Irman is survived by one son; David (Marsha) Young of Leesburg, FL, one daughter Jan (Roy) Downing of La Grange, GA, three grandsons: Mike Young, Scott and Tim Spears, and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Cemetery.
