Mrs. Irene M. Jaillet's Obituary
Irene M. Jaillet age 76 passed away late Thursday, November 22, 2013 at The Villages Hospice House. Irene was born in Gardner, Massachusetts and had been a resident of Fruitland Park, Florida for several years moving there from Umatilla where she lived since 1979. She retired from the Leesburg Regional Medical Center where she worked for many years as an Insurance Verification Clerk. She loved life and kept herself busy serving as a volunteer with the American Cancer Society and the Make A Wish Foundation. She also served as a tutor with the Lake County School System. She was also an active member of the Red Hat Society, which was a perfect fit for her because of her love of laughter and fun with friends. She will be remembered by those close to her as an avid traveler who loved to see and do new things and as one who's distinctive laugh would light up any room.
She is survived by: 3 Sons - Alan Jaillet of Weirsdale, FL; David Jaillet of Umatilla, FL; and Michael Jaillet of Gardner, MA; Daughters - Pamela Tash of Fitchburg, MA; Carlene Rafuse of Dexter, ME; and Marie Walker of Athol, MA; Brother – Leo Legere of Lady Lake; Grandchildren – Amy Schotanus, Alexander Smith; and Ryan Tash; Great Grandchild – Clarissa Schotanus.
