Iola Mae Bartley's Obituary
Iola Mae Bartley went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the age of 92. She was born on December 1, 1918 in Macomb, IL to the late Robert and Caroline Manyx. Iola was never one to sit still for very long, she was always involved in new ventures. She spent many years as a retail manager for several department stores in the Midwest, and became a very successful Avon representative, she was also the Welcome Wagon lady in Ohio, and very active in many different organizations in Hawthorne. Locally she was involved in forming the ladies golf league, and bocce ball at Hawthorne, and was involved in a group called VISA for the visually impaired, and was active with WOW, women over weight. On May 29, 1937 she was united in marriage to her loving husband Clinton J. Bartley, who survives her along with their two children, Vicki Jo Bartley-Riddle of Raleigh, NC, and Michael S. Bartley of Casco, ME. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Richard B. and Steven Riddle, Christine Riddle-Montgomery, M. Brendan and Ryan M. Bartley, along with seven great-grandchildren; Zander, William, Sam, Addison, Megan, Katie and Grace. A memorial service for Iola, will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the New Life Presbyterian Church of Fruitland Park, FL Page-Theus Funeral HomeAnd Cremation Services
