Henry L. McDonald's Obituary
Henry L. McDonald, 85, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 1, 2012 in The Villages. Mr. McDonald retired from the U.S. Army after serving in World War II, Korea and Vietnam and retiring as a First Sergeant. He then worked for the Leesburg Police Department, Owned a Flower Shop, worked with puppets for children to brighten their lives and Retired as a Minister. He and his wife moved to Central Florida in 1948 and were members of the Lake Hermosa Church of God in Lady Lake. He is survived by his loving wife 66 years Mildred McDonald of The Villages, FL.; four sons: Dale McDonald of the Villages, FL., Steven (Nancy) McDonald of Fishers, IN., David (Katina)McDonald of Ocklawaha, FL. and Jeffrey (Carol) McDonald of Abu-Dhabi, U.A.E.; two daughters: Diane (Dan) McCamish Elizabethtown, KY. and Regenia Luttrell of Fruitland Park, FL.; 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:00am at Lake Hermosa Church of God in Lady Lake, FL. Burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations may be made to either Lake Hermosa Church of God of Lady Lake, FL., or to the charity of one’s choice in his loving memory. Page – Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with all arrangements.
