I am very saddened to learn that "Grandma Helen" has passed. She was a friend of the family for quite some time, although I deeply regret that I have not made the trip from Colorado to Florida to visit her since I did so in 1998, when I visited her in Leesdale. She was an Eastern Star friend of my mom (Marilyn Roberts), and also my mom's mother. I always called her 'Grandma Helen', and although I kept in touch with her intermittently, I thought of her often. I am planning a trip to Florida next month where I was hoping to visit with her, and in the planning stages for that trip I learned of her passing. How I wish now that I had kept in closer contact! We had alot of fun last time I was there- playing the piano, doing the water excercise class, and just visiting. She was a wonderful person and I truly will miss her.
