Helen Blau's Obituary
Helen Blau passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the age of 85. She was born on May 8, 1928 in New York City to the late Arthur and Ruth Silverberg. For over 30 years she helped run the family Dry Cleaning business in Long Island, NY. Upon their retirement, she moved with her husband, Louis, to the Lake Worth, FL area. Locally she was a member of the woman’s club in her community, and enjoyed playing Canasta. Helen was a caretaker for her mother for many years. She is survived by her husband of over 65 years, Louis Blau, two sons; Mitchell (Lynder) Blau of The Villages, FL, and Peter Blau of Manhattan, NY, and two grand-daughters: Andrea and Samantha. Funeral services for Mrs. Blau will be on Sunday, Oct. 20th at 11:00 a.m. in the Garden of David in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
