Hazel E. Kaufman's Obituary
Hazel Edith Kaufman, 82, of The Villages, FL, passed away on July 6, 2025. Hazel was born in Brooklyn, NY, on June 1, 1943 to her loving parents; Charles and Helen (Gordon) Booth.
Hazel became a resident of The Villages about 14 years ago from East Brunswick, NJ, and regularly attended services at New Covenant United Methodist Church. Hazel would be described as a whimsical, witty and organized woman from Jersey who never shied away from telling it like it is, always backed with love and care. She enjoyed socializing with her friends and especially loved line dancing.
Hazel adored her husband Paul, the couple spent over 20 wonderful years with each other until Paul's passing in 1999. Hazel also took tremendous care of her beloved dog Riley, who left this earth just seven months prior.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul, her parents, 4 siblings, and her beloved dog Riley. She is survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews who will keep her smile and spirit alive for many generations to come.
