Harvey Eldred Pierce's Obituary
Harvey Eldred Pierce, 95, of Leesburg, FL, passed away peacefully at home on April 21,2023. Harvey was born on April 6, 1928 in Auburn, NY to his loving parents; James and Edith (Miller) Pierce.
In the year 2000, Harvey moved to Leesburg, FL he was of the Protestant faith and a loyal member to Grace Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Harvey served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant. He spent many wonderful years traveling around the world.
Harvey and Peach’s love story began in their neighborhood after he was impressed by her knowledge of motorcycles. They rode together on his bike and spent an adoring 18 years together. Harvey was a member of the Masons fraternal organization for 72 years. Through his passion of serving with the Leesburg Shriners, he and Peach worked a weekly Bingo Night.
Harvey was a sweet and soft person, he always had a joke to share and truly loved putting a smile on other people’s faces. He was very active in his community and will be remembered fondly for being a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Harvey is survived by his loving wife, Peach Pierce, a son; James Pierce and his wife Tammy, two daughters: Debbie Ortiz and her husband Mike, and Ellie Reese and her husband, John. As well as stepchildren: Russell, Brenda, Cynthia, Debbie, and Lisa, 4 precious grandchildren: Alexa, Lauren, C.J., and William, and one great-grandchild: Koi Lynn.
