Harry Goodsell Evans' Obituary
Harry Goodsell Evans, 78, Groveland, Florida passed away suddenly on May 25, 2022 at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Florida. Harry was born on July 9, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his parents Harry Evans and Edna (Goodsell) Evans.
Harry was a retired Mail Handler for the United States Postal Service with over thirty plus years of dedicated service. He and his loving wife Joyce moved to Groveland from Tamarac, Florida several years ago. Harry was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the United States Army as a paratrooper. He was of the Jewish faith.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 32 years: Joyce M. Evans of Groveland, Fl; Step-sons: Richard Hoffman and his wife Laura of Groveland, FL and John Hoffman and his wife Christina of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a brother: Dave Evans of Jupiter, FL; a sister: Betty Evans of New York; a loving granddaughter: Shannon Hoffman of Groveland, FL.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 10:00AM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with Military Honors.
