Harry Robert Davis' Obituary
Harry Robert Davis, 83, Leesburg, Florida passed away on June 9, 2019 at his residence under the loving care of his wife and staff of Cornerstone Hospice. Harry was born on December 30, 1935 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his parents Henry Davis and Gertrude (Sanke) Mothes. He was a former Warehouse Manager / Dispatcher for U.S. Plywood. He and his loving wife Helen moved to Leesburg 13 years ago from Marlton, New Jersey. Harry served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was of the Catholic faith. He was an extremely proud veteran who dearly loved his country. He was an avid reader and collected many books on World War II the European Theatre. He enjoyed watching baseball games and cheering on his favorite team the Philadelphia Phillies. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years: Helen Davis of Leesburg, Fl; a son: Mark Davis and his wife Molly of Jenkintown, PA; a daughter: Michele Logan of Jenkintown, PA; a grandson: Benjamin Davis of Jenkintown, PA and many dear friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 1:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, Florida.
