Hans Ivar Johannson, 86, passed away on December 15, 2014 in Leesburg, Florida. Mr. Johannson was born on August 27, 1928 in New York City, New York to his parents Ivar J. and L. Hedwig Johannson. Mr. Johannson and his wife have lived in Florida for 10 years formerly residing in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Johannson was employed as a Research and Development Engineer working in the Aerospace Industry and had worked on the space shuttle program. He was of the Christian faith. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Dorothy Johannson of Leesburg, FL and several loving nieces and nephews. Services have been entrusted to Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL.
