I am so sorry for the losses of both Tante Hanna and Uncle Erie. I have so many memories with them. Every Sunday we were in High Falls or they were in Saugerties. Lots of laughing and stories sitting around the table with their coffee and cake. I loved all the homemade cakes. Your mom was an amazing cook. I wish I could have appreciated it more. I still remember when my mom and dad went to Germany and Joann and I were with her, she made sqash for dinner, being a kid who never had it,I was not fond of it. I had to sit at the table til I ate it. After awhile, I was able to leave the table. Fyi..I love sqash now. They will be missed and memories of them will last forever.
