Gregory Lee Miller 's Obituary
Gregory Lee Miller age 78, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 in Leesburg, Florida. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and moved to the Maryville, Tennessee area 22 years ago from Miami, Florida. He spent more than 40 years as a glazier in the automobile glass business before retiring in Tennessee. He will be remembered by those close to him first and foremost for his personal relationship with God, his passionate involvement with his church family at Seventh Day Christian Assembly and for his love of family and the enjoyment he obtained from spending time with them all. Greg was known for his sense of humor and his unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He filled his days reading and studying a wide variety of topics and could carry on great conversations with anyone. He was devoted to his health for many years and enjoyed regular exercise at the gym often along side his daughter. He once ran a 6k, He hiked the Appalachian trail with his son as well as the Grand Canyon with his daughter. He was an adventurer,who enjoyed travel, family vacations,gardening,nature,hiking,motorcycles,and music just to name a few of his interests. His passing leaves a great void in the hearts of his friends and loved ones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Judith, Son-Gary Miller of Maryville, TN; Daughters- Taryn Azelski of Murfreesborgo, TN; Jill (Kevin) Craig of Melbourne, FL; and Danalli Miller of Maryville, TN; Brother-Michael Anastasi of Fruitland Park, FL; and 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
