I met Gloria at the pool in The Villages. She floated around the pool on her blue noodle; she was less than 5 feet tall, so she needed her noodle to float around into the deeper end so she could talk with everyone. She wore sunglasses, usually ones with a lot of bling, Also always had earrings on that matched her variety of bathing suits.
She was named "the Queen" . I will miss her energy, great big smile, laughter.

Nanny, you will be sadly missed by our family. Words can never express how much we will miss you. We first met when you brought your mother and father to my nursing home,where I cared for them for many years and grew to love your mom "Gussie" whit all her quarky ways.This friendship grew between us and when my Justin your god child was born it just grew stronger over the years to come. You became like my second mother always there when I needed you amd when my own mother could not.we enjoyed many happy times. Will miss you always comenting on the childerns facebook language. Lol.will miss our ,long phone chats. I am sorry that we were never able to come and visit you and pop in your new found paridise before you got sick. She was a dear woman and very kind to me and my children. So sorry to hear of her passing. I know she will be missed. My sincere condolences to her family,
