Glenn B. Moffett's Obituary
Glenn Bernard Moffett, 74, of Leesburg, FL, went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2025. Glenn was born in Cheverly, MD on September 22, 1950 to his loving parents; Clarence and Lily (Nordan) Moffett.
Glenn was a proud veteran of the United States Airforce for four years from 1971 to 1975 serving his country through Vietnam. He worked as a police officer in Hyattsville, MD and a deputy sheriff in Anne Arundel county, MD.
In 1981, Glenn married his beloved wife, Kathy and the two moved to Ft. Meyers, FL in 2003 and relocated to Leesburg, FL about five years ago.
Glenn was an avid reader and enjoyed the occasional cigar, yet when necessary, he thrived amongst people. Glenn had "the gift of gab" and will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor.
Glenn was also a true man of God. He spread the word of the Lord often and will be missed dearly by his beloved family.
Glenn is survived by his dear wife of 43 years, Kathryn B. Moffett, a son, Lee (Astrid) Moffett, daughter Julie (Steven) Bay, and five precious grandchildren.
