August 26th should have been our 27th Anniversary, but an 'Enemy' came and took him all to soon. I'll always remember that special day when he made me the happiest girl in the 🌍! Love you, miss you so much!
Jerry and I had a understanding ! He was right and I thought I was.,(LOL) But we always agreed on one thing , we where friends and brothers. See you down the road and I'll save you a seat.
My fondness memories of Jerry was watching him and Alfred work together on any project. Jerry was always so professional and wanted things done just so where Alfred done things the “mountain way!” It would vex Jerry terribly and was so comical. We all had some awesome times…looking forward for many more in Paradise.
Our dear Brother-in-Law, Jerry, fell asleep in death July 25. We are very saddened by this and miss him deeply. Jerry was always good to us and treated us with dignity and respect. He always helped us out when needed. We enjoyed being around him. We are so looking forward to welcoming him back in the Resurrection. Our love and prayers continue to go out to my dear sister, Carol. This is such a tremendous loss for her. We want to do all we can for her. We love her very much. Barbera and Joe.
My deepest condolences for Carol and the rest of Jerry's family. I enjoyed working with Jerry and Carol at FDOT. I have a lot of good memories of us enjoying lunch together. Jerry always had stories and jokes to tell and keep everyone smiling and laughing. He was a great friend and easy to talk to also. I enjoyed our espresso coffee breaks also that he started at FDOT. The tradition is still going here at the FDOT Ocala office. I will really miss receiving pictures from his trips to VA and all the beautiful photos he took and shared with his friends. He will be dearly missed and can't wait to see him again in Paradise and hearing his laugh. ❤️

The hurt I feel for you and your family and all Jerry's friends at the loss of our dear and very fun brother, is only outweighed when I imagine him coming home again. He will be youthful and vigorous and ready to start building, teaching, playing with dear and planting gardens and taking pictures all around the world forever!
Very soon we will enjoy him again, and share with us his special talents like gardening, photography, handyman and friend. You couldn’t be around him for more than ten minutes and not laugh about something. Carol and family we are very saddened for Jerry’s loss, this is only temporary, we will see him soon.
Carol, my condolences - Jerry was a wonderful co-worker and friend.. I always enjoyed speaking and working with him (and you) at Ocala Operations, the morning expresso times in the "old" office were always a good time. His smile and humor is something I will never forget. I am grateful for his support and friendship. He had the BEST grapefruit! Knowing Jerry has made me a better person.
Dad's love of the outdoors was one of my favorite things about him, besides his sense of humor. I am so grateful we were able to spend time together at his camp in Virginia last summer. He taught me to love nature before I could walk, and I'll always be thankful for that. Until we meet again, dad - I'll be thinking of you when I see beautiful sunsets and scenic views. Love, Nicole
