Mr. George A. Reiber's Obituary
George A. Reiber age 96 of The Villages, Florida passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Mr. Reiber was born in Akron, Ohio and moved to The Villages in 1998 from St. Petersburg, Florida. He was a retired Metal Smith for NASA and crafted the exterior metal covering many of the space program’s historical rockets.
He was a WW II Army Veteran and served in the Pacific Asiatic Theater, and a member of the American Legion. He was pre-Deceased by his wife Molly in 2007.
Survivors include: Son – George H. (Elizabeth) Reiber of Chesterfield, VA; Daughters – Donna Rae (Jack) Pritchard of Summerfield, FL; Dianna (Gary) Zupan- Lehigh Acres, FL; Brother-in-laws – Sisto Vincent, The Villages; Henry Vincent- St. Petersburg, FL; Sister-in-law – Flora Hubbs, CA; 6 Grandchildren – David, Dale, Laura, Lisa, George and Brian; 8 Great-Grandchildren – Paige, Payton, Nickki, Dani, Reese, Caitlynn, Anthony, and Eddy.
The family will receive friends at the Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel – 914 West Main Street, Leesburg, FL from 10:00-11:00 A. M. Monday June 3, 2013 with Funeral Service following immediately at 11:00 A. M. Interment with Military Honors will take place at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
