George W. Butler's Obituary
George W. Butler of Egg Harbor Twp and Ellenton, FL fell asleep in Jesus on July 13, 2013 and awaits the resurrection and return of The Lord. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 17, 1936 George lived most of his life in New Jersey, he attended Drexel Institute of Technology in Philadelphia earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Finance. He and his family moved back to Ocean City, NJ in 1972 where he owned and operated Best Tire Service for 10 years. He then worked as the Controller of Seashore Gardens in Atlantic City for 19 years until he retired in 2001. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 42 years Joy; and Children - Linda/Scott, Gibbstown, NJ; Elizabeth/Steven, Wharton, NJ; Andrew/Kim, Key West, FL; and Dori/Ian, Calgary, Alberta, Canada; 6 Grandchildren; Scott, Jr.; Elizabeth; Zachary; Kent; Keely; and twins Louis and John. In lieu of flowers donations in George’s memory can be made to CBMA (Christadelphian Bible Mission of the America’s) C/O 567, Astorian Drive, Simi Valley, CA 93065 or to the charity of one’s choice.
Funeral Services will take place 11:00 A. M., Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Skyway Memorial Gardens Chapel, 5200 U.S. 19 North, Palmetto, Florida. The family will receive friends at the chapel an hour before the services from
10:00 – 11:00 A. M. on Friday. Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Leesburg, Florida has been entrusted with all arrangements.
