Gary was my neighbor , my boss and a friend ! I was a teenager who knew everything...well almost, Gary knew more and I listened. He got me a job at Sizzler . He would drive me to fremont to train...later I was the head cook in Hayward. Those were fun years for me. Gary asked me to play on his Sizzler softball team...we played other sizzlers teams. Well in the Champtionship game I hit 2 homeruns , and we were winning by 1 run with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th when their clean up guy hits a bomb over my head...I made a Willie Mays catch at the fence to win the Game . It was a cool moment... To Gary it was the Greatest thing he had ever seen. He ran all the way to the out field and picked me up and almost carried me back to the infield...He loved it ! A true competitor...A fighter...and wonderful Man and I will never forget him !!
Much love to all the Family !
