Frederick Joseph Roth's Obituary
Frederick "Fred" Joseph Roth, 83, passed away on December 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by Irene (nee Michalowski) his lovely wife of 56 years as well as his sister Marlene Endriss and his parents Josef Roth and Maria Brunner Roth. He is survived by Andrew (Kathryn) and his beloved grandson Joseph.
Fred was born in NYC in 1939. He loved telling stories of his days growing up there. Fred was a very proud US Navy veteran having served on the USS Enterprise in the early 1960s. After the Navy, Fred worked for Eagle Electric on Long Island, NY. He was also a volunteer fireman with the North Bellmore Fire Department. After he retired from Eagle, he worked for John Deere in North Carolina. He and his wife relocated to the Plantation in Leesburg, Florida following his retirement from John Deere. Fred was very active in the clubs and groups at the Plantation. He was best known for his work with the lights and sound for the theatrical and choral performances at the Manor. His expertise will be missed. Fred's biggest joy in life was his grandson Joseph who was named after him.
