Frank Henry Coletti's Obituary
Frank Henry Coletti Sr. 76, a retired IT Communications Specialist and Navy Veteran, passed Monday, May 29, 2023, at his home in Leesburg, Florida. Frank is survived by his children, Maribel Rio, Frank Jr., Maria Aguirre, Josephine Nickelberry, and Laura Farias, as well as 15 grandchildren; Richard, Felix, Felicia, Jeremy, Jessica, Allison, Natalee, Jesse, Marissa, Angela, Whitney, Jensine, Jorey, Violeta, and Ashley, two brothers Ronald and John, in addition to nieces Paige, Romi, Alison, Amber, Kayla and nephews Craig, Kristian, Jason. He is predeceased by his parents Umberto and Gloria Coletti, his son Christopher, his grandson Zachary, his brother Larry and nephew Ron Jr.
A 4th generation son of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, Frank graduated from Lebanon High. He joined the Navy at 17, where he traveled the world. He earned his associates degree in IT/Communications from Golden Gate University while stationed at Treasure Island Naval base in San Francisco. Frank retired from Chevron Corporation in San Ramon, California where he worked for 17 years.
A student of famed Filipino martial artist Latino Gonzalez, Frank trained in the principle of Okinawan Shōrin-ryū Shidōkan where he earned the level of 3rd Dan. In his leisure time Frank played bass guitar with several local bands, competed in various Dressage competitions with his horse Peaches, and enjoyed riding his Harley.
Services will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Friday, August 11, at 11:30 am.
