Floyd Griffin Pease, age 85, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his residence in Leesburg, Florida. He was born July 17, 1926 in Phillipy, Tennessee, and moved to the Leesburg area in 2002 from Buda, Texas. He was a member of Read Obituary

I will always remember Floyd's backyard retreat he created in Leisurewoods, the Pease's neighborhood in Buda, TX. Floyd and Carolyn shared their beautiful pool and garden with their neighbors who happened to be my parents, Bob and Ginny. Floyd and Carolyn were wonderful and loyal neighbors, and they maintained loving contact with my family over all these years. Floyd and Carolyn were the best neighbors my parents, Bob and Ginny Jones could have wished for when both families moved into beautiful new homes in "Leisurewoods" community, Buda, Tx.As Bob and Ginny's adult daughter, Kim, I visited my parents many times during my breaks from my career as a federal agent, living about 3 hours away. Floyd and Carolyn have always been our "friends", and have never lost touch with my family over all these years. In Buda, Floyd took pride in caring for his great backyard oasis, including a pool and garden. He and Carolyn shared this beautiful retreat with us for pool parties, etc. They are always very warm and considerate and fun. Floyd, we'll miss you. My heart goes out to Carolyn and the Pease family on Floyd's passing. After knowing Carolyn and Floyd from Austin days in the 1980's, and visiting them in Florida every October, I will miss the home cooked meals, Floyd's laugh, Howey on his Daddy's lap, Floyd's great stories, and his wonderful personality.
