Flavia Pecoraro's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Flavia Pecoraro, of Leesburg, FL, on Sunday, April 19th, 2026.
Flavia was born on December 31,1944 to her parents, Salvatore and Anna Arno in The Bronx, New York. Here is where she would meet the soulmate of her life, Joel. The two would marry and go on to start a family and call several places home in New York, Connecticut and Florida before settling in Leesburg, FL till the time of passing.
Flavia was known for her strong belief in the Lord as her savior, and a member of First Baptist Church of Leesburg. Flavia’s beautiful smile will be remembered by all who encountered her. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially by the water on summer days. She also liked to read the bible and books about Heaven.
Flavia is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Joel Pecoraro; her son, Stephen Pecoraro, grandchildren; Liam and Olivia Pecoraro, brother and sister-in-law; Frank and Kathy Arno. Also, by nieces; Kristine and Julliane Anemone, Stephine Arno. Cousins; Lena Fitzpatrick, Mike and Anne Battaglia and several extended loving family and friends.
A Celebration of Life and lunch will be held at First Baptist Church of Leesburg at a later date and time.
