Farrell Ray Edmondson's Obituary
Farrell Ray Edmondson, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on February 5, 1940, Farrell lived a life full of love, dedication, and passion for the things that brought him joy.
Farrell was the devoted husband of Elaine J. Edmondson, with whom he shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a family that was a source of pride and joy throughout his life. He is survived by his loving wife Elaine, two children—Kevin Dale Edmondson (Julia) and Diane Rae Edmondson, three grandchildren—Aaron Ray Edmondson, Kaitlyn Elaine Edmondson, and Blake Dale Edmondson, and his sister—Fran Rockey (Robert). His legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom will continue through them.
Farrell had a wide range of interests that brought him fulfillment, most notably his passion for flying, woodworking, and computers. He was always eager to learn, and his curious mind never stopped exploring. His love of aviation was especially significant, having served proudly in the Air National Guard, where he gained invaluable experiences that shaped his character.
Beyond his hobbies, Farrell was known for his warmth, humor, and generosity of spirit. He made lasting friendships wherever he went and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His presence in the lives of his family and friends will be deeply missed.
Farrell’s memory will be cherished forever by all who knew him, and his contributions to the lives of his loved ones will not be forgotten. A private celebration of his life will be held in the coming days. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of choice in his memory.
Rest in peace, Farrell. Your legacy of love, adventure, and learning will live on in all of us.
