Judy and I didn't know Evelyn quite as well as Larry. One thing always stuck out for us, however, and that was that any time we saw her she always had a kind word to say or a compliment. For example: :You two work harder than anyone on the block and it shows."
She was a very pleasant neighbor.

Our prayers and Love thoughts have been with you and your families since we saw you all at the Family reunion in Davenport. In Jesus Holy name. Larry and Kathlene Amerine
We have had so many fun, wonderful times with Evelyn and we laughed a lot! We will remember her laugh and smile, the Christmases we shared in Florida, camping together, and a lot of great conversations. We can't begin to put into words how sad and heart broken we are. Sympathy and lots of hugs go out to Larry, Steve & Pam, Deb & John and their families
Words are very inadequate at this time but from the first night I met Evie at the Colosium we clicked and over the years we had a lot of fun. She was my get in trouble buddy. Our love to all of you.
We will remember WEFEST, playing cards (Pay Me) Pina Coladas on the patio, camping together, holidays, Florida visits with and without the kiddos, Evelyn saying to us "I will not allow that to happen to my body" laughing through my tears today. We will remember that she loved the color purple, her home in Florida, traveling with Larry, her grandchildren and family, her laugh, her smile, her advice, and her hugs. We will miss her like crazy, but forever grateful for the time we had with her and the memories we made! She was an amazing wonderful woman in our lives!!! XOX
I'll always be her old lady hoo, the one who makes her speed though red lights because the music was too loud.
I will always be her old lady hoo, that made her speed through red lights when the music was too loud and she couldn't see!
