Eugene "Gene" Flake's Obituary
Eugene “Gene” Flake age 73 passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Tavares, Florida after a lengthy fight with cancer. Gene was a native of Florida and grew up in Tavares and graduated from Leesburg High School. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served in Vietnam. Gene was a graduate of the University of Miami and worked extensively as a Licensed Funeral Director in Central and North Florida for over 40 years. He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Sue Ann Flake; Children Michael and Gina; and a sister – Juanita Hughes of Orlando. At Gene’s request a simple graveside service is planned for 11:00 A. M. – Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with all arrangements.
